Vick named to VaSID all-state academic team

Lauren Vick of New Kent was named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) all-state academic team.

Vick, who competes on Longwood University’s cross-country team, helped lead the team to its best finish in Big South history.

To earn the recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher.
