The school-level bee, at which students answer oral questions on geography, was the first round of the 20th National Geography Bee, sponsored by the National Geographic Society.

Ryan Sherenco and Tyler Rodriguez tied for second place. Other classroom winners competing were Alicia Belcher, Debbie Clemons, Shannon Foley, Lili Kaufman, Kathryn Lawson, Joshua Meredith, Jaden Norman, Tucker Pancoast, Eric Parsley, Brandon Radwani, Zach Rodriguez, Chris Rolince, Justin Schwank, Danielle Foster, Hunter Franks, Kala Hall, Thunder Hogge, Matthew Thomas, Brittany Verlander, Wyatt Vickers, Hunter Wade, Ryan Walters, Austyn Wills, Amanda Wood, Maryon Wood, and Robert York.

Bee questions were read aloud by Mr. Hagy. Anyone can brush up on geography with GeoBee Challenge, and on-line quiz at www.nationalgeographic.con/geobee, which poses 10 questions a day from previous national bees.
