Haga wins Philip Morris scholarship

Kasie Haga, a sophomore at Bridgewater College and resident of Quinton, is one of five Bridgewater students to win scholarships in statewide competition among 15 member colleges in the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges consortium.

Haga won a $10,000 scholarship from Philip Morris USA. Norfolk Southern and Hilb Rogel and Hobbs provided other scholarships. With the scholarship, Haga has an opportunity to be considered for a paid summer internship with Philip Morris
