Storm spotter class scheduled in NK

New Kent Fire-Rescue is hosting a National Weather Service SKYWARN class for training local residents as storm spotters on June 18, 6 p.m. at the New Kent Forestry Center.

Storm spotters provide vital information to the National Weather Service. The free class is open to the first 35 people to register and takes about two hours.
