Peace to campaign for new term in 97th District

Delegate Christopher K. Peace announced his intent to campaign for reelection for the 97th seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates.

“With great humility, I intend to seek reelection to the office of Delegate for the 97th District in the Virginia Assembly,” Peace said in a press release. “At home, my office remains creative and responsive to all constituents concerns.”

Peace has represented the district since 2006, with his representation focusing on opposing tax increases, protecting family values, and promoting job creation in Hanover, King William, and New Kent counties.

“I am seeking re-election to represent the home and community that I love,” he continued. “I commit to work every day to find solutions for hard-working families so that it becomes a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

“While challenges exist, I believe that there are no problems that we cannot solve together as a community,” he concluded.
