Howard receives Virginia Forestry Association’s 2015 President’s Award

New Kent County resident Dr. Farrar W. Howard Sr. (seated) receives the 2015 President's Award from the Virginia Forestry Association during a presentation Monday at his Lanexa home. Howard, named the 1997 National Tree Farmer of the Year for his tree farm in Charles City County, won the award based on his "lifelong commitment to faithful stewardship of the land, service to the community, and love of family and God."
