Taking Root farm tour locations named

Virginia Cooperative Extension Office has announced the Taking Root farm tour, scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 1-5 p.m.

This year the tour will feature two different kinds of farming operations and opportunities to learn about New Kent agriculture.
The tour will be in the New Kent area of the county, with stops at the Lightning Ridge Farm (10341 New Kent Highway) and Couch’s Berry Farm (8201 Poindexter Road).

The event is sponsored by Virginia Cooperative Extension, New Kent County, Farm Bureau, and the James City/New Kent/Williamsburg Master Gardener Association.
