Harris seeks more years on Charles City School Board
Martha “Mag” Harris has announced her intentions to seek re-election to the Charles City School Board as the District 3 representative.
“I share in the belief that every child deserves an excellent and committed school, one that provides the best education and fosters growth and opportunity,” Harris said in a press release. “I believe that as a community we all share in the responsibility for preparing our children for a world full our challenges.
“As a committed resident of Charles City County and your school board representative, I will continue to support our system through community involvement, representing students, teachers, parents, staff, and the best interest of our students,” she continued. “Our graduating class of 2015 affirmed that we have some of the brightest minds, dedicated hearts, and loving spirits in the world and that they could compete with students everywhere.
“I look to continue to push our kids in that direction and to do what I can to make sure they succeed in all things that they accomplish,” Harris concluded.
