Hampton man arrested after evading NK authorities for more than a year

A Hampton man who has eluded New Kent authorities for a year has been arrested.

Michael Anthony Little, 40, of the 1400 block of E. Pembroke Avenue, was taken into custody by sheriff deputies on Aug. 17.

According to the arrest report, Little had allegedly used a vehicle without permission of the owner on June 18, 2014. As authorities searched for him, Little evaded custody and remained on the run. Deputies located the suspected and arrested him on an outstanding warrant.

Little was being held without bond pending a September appearance in general district court.
