Charles City voters reminded of registration requirements
Charles City citizens are reminded to make sure they registered in the precinct in which they live in order to be qualified to vote.
In order to vote in the Nov. 3 general/special election, citizens are to be registered no later than Tuesday, Oct. 13, 5 p.m. at the General Registrar’s office, located at 10900 Courthouse Road.
The office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and will be open on Saturday, Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 for those who need to vote by absentee ballot. All absentee ballots sent by mail, e-mail, or fax machine must be received by 5 p.m. on Oct. 27, while in-person absentee voting must be completed by Saturday, Oct. 31, 5 p.m.
