Charles Gardner- New Kent candidate for Sheriff

Experience- Has 25 years in law enforcement field, with 21 years in New Kent. Military police background and Vietnam veteran; currently supervises courts, school resource officer and animal control.

Reason for running- “I feel that I have something to bring to New Kent. I have the qualifications and background to serve citizens and save taxpayers money through my restructuring plan.”

Why should people vote for you?- “I’m a good, honest, and fair person and that’s the way I’ve always been. I will treat everyone the same and create a good, working relationship between the sheriff’s office and the community.”
