Lane closures for repair projects to occupy Interstate 64 overnight hours

There will be two Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) projects in New Kent in the upcoming week.

–There will be alternating lane closures on Oct. 12-15, 10 p.m.-5 a.m. on Interstate 64 eastbound between mile markers 208-209 for ITS equipment installation.

–The right lane both east and westbound on Interstate 64 at Bottoms Bridge (mile marker 205) will be closed on Oct. 13-14 from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. for maintenance of the weight in motion scales.
