Letter to the Editor: Supports McLaughlin for New Kent County sheriff

I offer my full support for John Joseph “Joe” McLaughlin Jr., candidate for New Kent County sheriff in the Nov. 3 election.

Joe is an experience law enforcement officer who will make an excellent sheriff. Joe has served New Kent County Sheriff’s Office for many years and is currently serving as chief deputy. Joe is a man who leads by example. Being a rural sheriff is a difficult job, but Joe is qualified and up to the task.

I ask you to join me on Nov. 3 in my support for Joe McLaughlin for sheriff.
