Access ‘grant’-ed

New Kent’s Educational Foundation presents a check in the amount of $14,984.63 in funds as the result of being the recipient of 32 grants during New Kent School Board’s regular meeting Monday evening. The funds are used for numerous instructional purposes including the recently implemented one-to-one Chromebook initiative, providing specialized history material, and field work access for biology classes. The foundation also raised $21,000 from its annual Bowlathon to help the school system.
