Rich City Spiders 13U team, consisting of players from Charles City and New Kent, won the East Coast Youth Football Championship with victories over the Virginia Vikings and Hampton Road Wildcats during the Nov. 28-29 weekend. Team members are Connor Grazioso (New Kent), Corey Williams, Trevor Davis (New Kent), Hosea Cofield, Malikai Christian (New Kent), Caleb Olgers, Caleb Stanley (New Kent), Peyton Rosso, Nathan Thornton (New Kent), Haji Jackson (Charles City), Nathan Albertson (New Kent), Lawrence Porter, Andrew Davis (New Kent), Hudson White, Lance Alfonso, Zion dean, Nathan Mundy, and Joey Campbell (New Kent). The team was led by head coach Eric Thornton of Quinton and assisted by Vic Alfonso, Jimmy Olgers, Jeri Thornton, Kevin Mundy, and John Grazioso.
