New Kent High School’s Interact Club, the high school equivalent of New Kent Rotary Club, presented two checks to Michelle Dho (far right) of New Kent Humane Society on Jan. 21, in memory of Sarah McLaughlin. Students raised funds through community projects such as the Rotary Club Christmas tree sales, and received personal donations for a collection to donate in McLaughlin’s memory.
