Letter to the Editor: Thanks good Samaritans for help during snowstorm

To the Samaritans I met on Holly Fork and Tabernacle Roads:

In the Bible, Luke 10:25-37 tells the story of the Good Samaritans on the road to Jericho.

Traveling home on Sunday, Jan. 24, on Holly Fork Road after the snowstorm, my car slipped into the ditch and I was blessed by five Samaritans who helped me get out the ditch. After arriving at my driveway on Tabernacle Road, I could not get up it, but along came seven more Samaritans to help me get into my yard.

I do not know the names of all the people but I want to say thanks again for helping me to get home safely.

The Bible states that God is an ever present help in time of trouble. Each of you were moved by God to get me safely home.
