Dual enrollment students participate in New Kent health fair

Dual enrollment students from Rappahannock Community College who currently attend Bridging Communities Career and Technical Center in New Kent recently participated in a health fair at New Kent’s Health and Human Services Department on Mar. 9.

Nursing students received hands-on opportunities to work with patients as part of the program. Activities conducted included measuring blood pressure, height, weight, pulse, and respiratory rate. Students also provided written results to patients as part of the nursing aide program.

Participating students were Chynna Berry, Destiny Davis, Amber Holmes, Dominique Palermo, and Mackenzie Perkins, all of New Kent, and Jasmine Dabney of Charles City.
