Lady Trojans ousted in conference soccer tourney opener

New Kent's Alicia Rocha (1) keeps the ball away from Poquoson's Kiersten Mannino during Tuesday's Conference 25 soccer tournament opening round game. The visiting Islanders built a 3-0 lead on the way ending the Lady Trojans' tourney run and season with a 3-1 win. Lady Trojan Talia Hohman scored the hosts' lone goal with 13 minutes remaining to avert a shutout. New Kent finished 7-7.
