Carpenter named to 3A First Team in baseball

Steven Carpenter, a recent graduate of New Kent High School, was named to the Group 3A all-state baseball team.

Carpenter received recognition and was elected to the first team as a shortstop. He will be continuing his baseball career at Virginia Commonwealth University.
