Local residents complete graduation requirements at Rappahannock Community College

Several Charles City and New Kent residents were among the 596 students who earned degrees and certificates during the 44th commencement of Rappahannock Community College on May 13.

Graduates honored during the ceremony were those who completed the required courses and classes during Summer 2015 semester, Fall 2015 semester, or Spring 2016 semester.

Graduates who reside in Charles City County are Tyrus Allen, Chynna Berry, Christian Bradby, Jasmine Dabney, and Aaron Jones.

New Kent graduates of the college are Charles Atkinson, Christian Babin, Shane Barker, Chynna Berry, Bobby Boggs, Rachel Cashin, Julia Christian, Justin Couch, J’Lon Davis, Blake Forsythe, Jacob Furgurson, Michaelia Gatling, Sydney Griffith, Ian Halsey, Faythe Haskell, Amber Holmes, Joshua Lemons, Halie Maass, Timothy Mathis, Dominique Palermo, Mackenzie Perkins, Brian Reed, Ryan Sherenco, Ethan Smith, Wendy Stevens, Aaron White, Richard Williams, and Ashleigh Yeary.

Many students completed more than one program in their related fields, while others completed both requirements of the college while earning their high school diploma.
