Student wins LaSertoma scholarship

Jing Jing Jin, a 2012 graduate of New Kent High School, has been selected among other high school seniors nationwide to receive $750 scholarship grant for her continuing education from LaSertoma International.

The grant is in addition to a $1,500 scholarship awarded earlier by Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma in New Kent County.

She is attending James Madison University this fall where she has been accepted in the honors program. She plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in international business and continue her education in international studies in the MBA program.
