Medical Reserve Corps seeking NK, CC volunteers

The Medical Reserve Corps is seeking volunteers from New Kent and Charles City counties.

Volunteers have supported a wide variety of activities, such as responding to natural disasters, giving vaccinations at seasonal flu clinics, organizing rabies clinics, participating in community health fairs, administering blood pressure screenings to the underserved, and providing medical services to the homeless and precariously housed.

There are over 1,500 volunteers serving seven units in the Greater Richmond area.
