New Kent County Fair recognized with several awards

The New Kent County Fair Association won several communication awards at the 100th annual Virginia Association of Fairs Convention.

The fair received two blue ribbons (first place), two red ribbons (second place), and three white ribbons (third place) during the early January recognition. Areas that awards were received included fair booklets, posters, scrapbooks, and website presentation.

New Kent’s County Fair Association competes in the class of with fairs that have 7,000 of fewer visitors. This year’s fair is scheduled for Aug. 11-13 at New Kent High School. For information about the fair’s achievements, visit www.newkentcountyfair.com.
