Kids in Motion

New Kent Kids in Motion, a New Kent Parks and Recreation program, completed the season in April with ½ mile and 1 mile races for kids ages 4–middle school. Mile race winners (below, l to r) are Hannah Jones, Ely Tettoni and David McCoy. Other participants are Gabriella Adkins, Sophia Adkins, Will Ashley, Savannah Bartlett, Makayla Bathurst, Kenny Dozier, Campbell Gowdy, Austin Haynes, Mia Jones, Jaiden McCoy, Caroline Swynford, Allison Trogdon, Davis Trogdon, Lauren Turner, Wayne Wagner, Mary Lee Wood, and Rick Wood. Coaches are Bea Shaw, Judy Cogburn, Perry Cogburn, Cortney Merkel. Special thanks to New Kent in Motion and Maidstone Dental.
