Nine indicted by grand jury
A Carrollton man, allegedly driving under the influence, now faces felony maiming charges after being indicted by a New Kent Circuit Court grand jury on Monday.
Reginald Lamont Dickerson, 37, of 13192 Windward Place, was indicted on two counts of DUI maiming and misdemeanor DUI. According to the indictment, Dickerson caused severe injuring to Hoyt Austin Cocke and Vincent Puccinelli during a March 8 accident.
The grand jury indicted eight other individuals during Monday’s proceedings. The suspects and the charges they face are:
–Simone Latrea Worrell, 20, of 223 West Oceanview Avenue, Apt. 5, Norfolk, on five counts of forging a public document. Worrell is accused of forging five summonses in July of last year.
–Judy Kaye Mackenroth, 45, of P.O. Box 32, White Marsh, on driving under the influence (third offense). The offense allegedly occurred on Jan. 17 of this year.
–Myles Konrad Beverly, 19, of 9410 Boulevard Road, Providence Forge, on one count of grand larceny. Beverly allegedly stole a firearm belonging to David Lee Sharpe between the dates of Jan. 7-26 of this year.
–Gary Darnell Burton Jr., 19, of 4809 Mountcastle Road, Providence Forge, on one count of grand larceny. The indictment alleges the defendant stole a laptop belonging to Terry Rice between Feb. 10-12.
–Jason Nicholas Frey, 34, of 5635 Yellow Jasmine Terrance, Providence Forge, on one count of child endangerment. The alleged offense occurred on March 19.
–Corky Lee Hendricks, 32, of 703 Adams Road, Science Hill, Ky., on one count each of grand larceny and burglary. The defendant is accused of breaking into the residence of Jeri-Douglas Thornton and Eric John Thornton and stealing jewelry on March 31, 2012.
–Eugene Meredith Otey, 38, of 8570 Richmond Road, Lanexa, on three counts of uttering. Indictments allege the defendant used three checks belonging to Kevin Bowen on last Dec. 7 and 11.
–Clayton Douglas Musselman, 25, of 7467 Lexington Drive, Mechanicsville, on one count each of grand larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Musselman’s case proceeded on Monday, and he accepted a plea agreement with the unauthorized use of a vehicle charge dropped. Musselman admitted he stole a chainsaw, gutter guards, and a Skill Jigsaw from Gary and Susan Musselman, who are his parents. Under the plea agreement, he received a five-year sentence on the grand larceny charge, with all but six months suspended. He must also pay $500 in restitution.
