Bates named to VCU’s Dean’s List

Karen Bates, a resident of Charles City, was named to the Dean’s List at Virginia Commonwealth University for the Fall 2017 semester.

In order to be named to the Dean’s List, a student must accumulate a grade-point average of 3.5 or better, take at least 12 credit hours, and not receive anything below a “C” grade

Bates is majoring in early childhood education and is scheduled to graduate this May.
