Three New Kent locations part of Virginia’s Historic Garden week

Three New Kent locations will be showcased as part of Virginia’s Historic Garden Week in 2018.

Cedar Lane Plantation, Moss Side Manor, and Cumberland Plantation will be open for tours on Saturday, Apr. 21, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at Cedar Lane Plantation at 10 a.m. New Kent residents may visit Cedar Lane Plantation at no charge from 9-10 a.m. A farmers’ market and historical civil war re-enactments will also take place.

Virginia’s Historic Garden Week highlights gardens and landscape through preservation and upkeep of grounds throughout the state. Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com.
