Kids and adults alike partook in fun activities, games, and rides as both Charles City and New Kent County held their annual county fairs on Sept. 14 and Sept. 20-22 respectively. Above, four-year old Alivyah Dirkson is princess for the day as a crown is painted on her forehead by Giggles the Clown. Below, New Kent High School junior Brianna Acosta has a laugh as she tries to tame the bucking bronco, one of the many attractions at New Kent’s County Fair.
