Chronicle celebrates 20th anniversary
New Kent-Charles City Chronicle’s staff would like to thank businesses, patrons, readers, and supporters as the newspaper celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Over the years, the Chronicle has evolved into a mainstream outlet, providing news for the counties of New Kent and Charles City. The paper strives to bring to you the best in local news, the news that matters to you and has a direct impact on you and your community.
In the last year, the Chronicle took a giant leap and launched its website, www.nkccnews.com. Over that time span, the website became a success, providing late-breaking news, alerts, photo galleries, and much more. The support continues to be overwhelming, as the number of viewers to the website has doubled in a short year. Our paper reaches out to more than 25,000 people in Charles City and New Kent County, as well as former residents who view the site to see the events and activities occurring in their hometown.
The Chronicle also operates on a variety of social websites. Our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/New-Kent-Charles-City-Chronicle) has become an interactive site for posting community events and debate on local topics. The Chronicle also provides videos of local events through your YouTube page by entering “NKCCNews” in the search bar or see direct links throughout our online stories.
The New Kent-Charles City Chronicle will continue to bring you the best in local, late-breaking news. We thank each and every reader for his and her support, as well as those who have and will do business with us in the future.
