SkillsUSA state winner in HVAC competition

Michael Foster (right), a senior at New Kent High School and student at Bridging Community Career and Technical Center, won the SkillsUSA state competition in the HVAC category during the weekend of Apr. 21 in Virginia Beach. As the winner, he received a $10,000 scholarship and will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky, to compete in the national competition in June. Accompanying Michael is HVAC instructor Tom Fowler.
