Introduction to Green vs. School Board of New Kent case

A panel of historians were on-hand to provide an introduction to the “Green vs. County of New Kent School Board” landmark U.S. Supreme Court Case Saturday afternoon at George Watkins Elementary School. Moderated by Dr. Jody Allen and Dr. Brian Daugherity, the program provided an overview of the importance of the case. Also taking place was a musical performance by New Kent Stagehands to give the younger generation a glimpse of the case.
