Proclaiming Grace Outreach food pantry celebrates 10 years of service

Proclaiming Grace Outreach Food Pantry, located in the Barhamsville area of New Kent, is celebrating 10 years of service.

The food pantry operates every first and third Friday of each month and has provided more than 300,000 pounds of food within the last 10 years. The food pantry was awarded an grant by Feedmore last year that assisted with the purchase of a new walk-in cooler.

The organization will highlight its celebration in conjunction with its annual Jenna Bash Festival at Rockahock Campground on Aug. 4, 11 a.m. There will be a parking fee of $3 this year with all proceeds going to the food pantry.
