William Charles White Jr.

William Charles White Jr. exchanged time for eternity on the morning of December 22, 2013.

William was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to the parents of William Charles Sr. and Elise White on September 2, 1962. Bill attended primary schools in PA, NJ, and VA. He graduated from Fort Hunt High School in 1980 and Norfolk State University in 1986, and received his Masters Degree from UNC Chapel Hill in 1996.

In 1986, he fell in love with Rhonda Chapelle Jackson and they married in 1987.

Bill leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 26 years; Rhonda, his 3 children Miracle Jean King (Edwin), William Charles III, and Majesty Elise; one grandchild, Edwin B. King Jr. ‘EJ’, as well as his devoted parents, William Charles White Sr. and Elise White; sister Sybil Savage (Leroy); niece Tyler Savage; nephew Austin Savage; grandfather Willis C. White Sr.; father and mother-in-law, Curtis and Ethel Jean Jackson; sisters-in-law Lorie Rainey (Jesse Jr.) and Dasha Jackson; niece Autumn Rainey; nephews Jesse III, Caleb, and Elias Rainey, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The wake was held on Friday, Dec. 27, 7 p.m.; the celebration of life service was held at 12 p.m. at Destiny Christian Church; 2401 Randleman Road Greensboro, NC 27406.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Raleigh-Durham Affiliate.
