TV series coming to Shirley Plantation

Cloak and Dagger, an AMC network television series, will be filming episodes at Shirley Plantation.

Virginia’s Oldest Plantation, Shirley will be depicted as a home during the Revolutionary War. The Great House, stables, kitchen, courtyard, and wharf are expected to appear in the show.

The show is based on a non-fiction book entitled “Washington Spies: The Story of America’s First Spy Ring,” and is available at Shirley Plantation for purchase.

The show is expected to premiere during the spring of 2014.
