Pre-K, kindergarten registration in Charles City is Apr. 11

Charles City Elementary School will have pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten registration on Thursday, Apr. 11, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Registration documents required for pre-kindergarten include original birth certificate, legal parent/guardian photo identification, custody documents (if applicable), residency verification, income document (tax forms from 2018 or W2), PK/VPI application, student registration form, and school entrance health form. Children must be age four by Sept. 30 and toilet-trained without the use of pull-ups.

Children who are five years old by Sept. 30 can start kindergarten this upcoming fall but need to register. Documents needed include a certified birth certificate, two proofs of address, photo identification of parent/legal guardian, Kindergarten information form, Virginia school entrance health form, and registration form.
