New Kent Sheriff selected as member of VSI board

New Kent Sheriff J. Joseph (Joe) McLaughlin Jr. was elected to serve on the Virginia Sheriff’s Institute (VSI) Board of Directors as a board member. He was elected at the annual meeting by his peers to hold the position and will serve a one-year term with the organization’s goals of increasing public safety, crime prevention, and issues relating to management.
