Bay Rivers District middle school champions

New Kent Middle School’s Lady Lions softball team emerged as the Bay Rivers District champions after their 14-2 victory over Yorktown Middle School in the tournament finals. The team composed a record of 10-1 for the season on their way to claiming the championship trophy.
