Jones plans re-election run for Charles City Sheriff

Alan Jones Sr. has announced his intentions for re-election to serve as Charles City County for a second term.

“It has been an honor and great pleasure to serve as sheriff of Charles City County over the last four years,” Jones said in a press release. “I’m a proven leader who promotes teamwork, professionalism, and is very passionate about doing whatever it takes to tackle tough issues of Charles City County for continued growth.

“It would be a great honor to have the opportunity to continue my work and keep moving forward with new goals to make Charles City County the best it can be,” he added. “My focus has not changed, and I am determined to build on the success we have had over the course of my first term as sheriff in enhancing the efforts in nurturing an even stronger community relations.”
