Bedford men among those indicted by New Kent grand jury

Two Bedford men have been charged with unrelated crimes in New Kent stemming from incidents that took place on Sept. 4, 2018.

Tyler Steven Bell, 27, of the 5400 block of Forest Road, and Antoinne Lamont Wright, 31, of the 100 block of Colonial Lane, received indictments that were certified by a New Kent grand jury Monday morning.

Wright was indicted on one count each of felony possession of a weapon or ammunition (not a gun) and possession of a weapon by a violent felon. Bell was charged with a lone count of manufacturing a controlled substance.

In other indictments handed up by the grand jury:

–Zachary Allen Amory, 23, of Henrico Jail East, on a lone charge of malicious wounding. Amory allegedly got into an altercation on May 11 that resulted in serious injury to the victim.

–Richard Cameron Custalow, 25, of the 4900 of Tray Bark Court, Sandston, on a single count of assault on a law enforcement officer. The offense allegedly took place on Feb. 1.

–Robert Earl Davis, 30, of P.O. Box 223, Providence Forge, on one count each of manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. The offenses allegedly took place on Oct. 21, 2018.

–Candida Danielle Franklin, 39, of the 100 block of West Street, Louisa, on a single charge of possession of a controlled substance. The defendant allegedly possessed cocaine on Oct. 20, 2018.

–Matthew Stephen Jordan, 21, of the 2400 block of Middle Avenue, Norfolk, on a solo count of credit card larceny. The offense allegedly took place on Dec. 3, 2018.

–Jonathan C. Long, 36, of the 600 block of Muckerman Road, Bennettsville, South Carolina, on one count each of felony eluding of police and misdemeanor driving suspended or revoked. The alleged offense took place on July 27, 2018.

–Ashleigh Chantil Morris, 25, of the 100 block of Tarleton Bivouac, Williamsburg, on one charge each of credit card forgery and credit card larceny. The defendant allegedly stole the card of Geraldine Bass on Nov. 25, 2018 and used it without the victim’s permission.

–Mushane Xavier Stevenson, 41, of the 1900 block of Wood Street, Richmond, on a single count of manufacturing a controlled substance. The defendant allegedly made Fentanyl on Oct. 17, 2018.

–Keyshawn Marquette Warren, 20, of the 3000 block of Hanes Avenue, Richmond, on one count each of grand theft auto and felony eluding of police. Warren allegedly stole a vehicle belonging to Aleah Cooper on Jan. 30 and led police on a chase while driving it.

–Antwan Dieon Williams, 30, of Henrico Jail East, on a single charge of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer. The offense allegedly took place on Apr. 17.
