Groundbreaking for Pine Fork Park

Members of New Kent’s Board of Supervisors and the county’s park and recreation department commence with ceremonial shovels to signify the groundbreaking of Pine Fork Park that took place Wednesday morning. The $4.38 million project, that was had its master plan approved in September 2015, will consist of a number of baseball and softball fields, football/soccer fields, playgrounds, a walking trail, permanent restrooms, and a dog park. The park is expected to be completed by the latter half of 2020.
