C&F reports net income for 2013 calendar year

C&F Financial Corporation is reporting record income of $14.4 million ($4.18 per share) for 2013, compared with $16.1 million, or $4.86 per common share for 2012.

Fourth quarter income totaled $2.9 million or 81 cents per share compared to $3.9 million and $1.17 per share a year ago.

The corporation is the one-bank holding company for C&F Bank.
