Above, Charles City Elementary School principal Ed Van Dyke (left) and Charles City High School principal Marcus Petty Jr. (right) sort through academic packets to distribute at the school’s grab-and-go distribution on March 26. With school buildings closed for the remainder of the academic year to students due to the COVID-19 pandemic, packets consisting of educational materials are being created to keep student engagement.
