Local organizations donate to Bridges of Change shelter

New Kent Rotary Club took part in a donation of more than $6,000 in items to support the Bridges of Change shelter.

In conjunction with the Henrico East Rotary Club, Proclaiming Grace Outreach, and Grace Station, the organizations contributed items to the domestic violence shelter.

“The different organizations coming together in a united front will allow us to better meet the needs of our community,” commented Colleen Bonadonna, president of New Kent’s Rotary Club, in a press release.

Among those items include 75 books, computer and printer, toiletries, diapers, a picnic table, and an outdoor playset.
