St. Peter’s Parish Church names scholarship winners

Three New Kent High School seniors and a New Kent resident have been awarded scholarships from St. Peter’s Parish Church.
Clayton Evelyn, Alayna Loveland, Caroline Jones, and Lydia Danielson are recipients of the Louis Miller Clopton and William Boyd Clopton Memorial Scholarship. Each scholarship, in the amount of $1,000 apiece, was awarded to each graduating senior based on their strong moral character, religious involvement, community service, motivation, and academic success.
Evelyn plans to attend Virginia Tech University upon his graduation, while Danielson will head to Christopher Newport University to further her studies. Loveland will continue her studies at the University of Virginia, and Jones plans to pursue her education at Rappahannock Community College.
