Pinehurst bound

Harrison Opett, a rising third grader at New Kent Elementary School, earned an invitation to play in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship at Pinehurst in North Carolina. Harrison qualified for the event by winning the Richmond and Hampton Road tours and meeting the scoring requirements. Harrison’s brother, Rylan, was previously a three-time qualifier for the championship tour.
