Virginia Capital Trail celebrating fifth anniversary

The Virginia Capital Trail foundation will celebrate its fifth anniversary on Oct. 2 with a number of outdoor activities.

The trail, which runs through Charles City County, will hold a number of activities throughout the stretch of the area. Among activities include environmental stewardship, a scavenger hunt, and a trail-wide clean-up that will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3, 9:30-11:30 a.m. (registration is required).
