New Kent Circuit Court awarded CCRP grant
New Kent County Circuit Court is a recipient of a grant awarded by the Circuit Court Records Preservation (CCRP) program.
The award, in the amount of $15,982, was presented to New Kent Circuit Court Clerk Amy P. Crump and will be used to conserve Plat Book 5, p. 1-50, 1967-68; Plat Book 5, p. 51-100; 1968-69; Plat Book 6, p. 1-50, 1970-1972; and Plat Book 6, p. 51-100, 1972-1974.
“We’re very excited,” said Crump on receiving the grant. “These records are the history of our county. We have an obligation to make sure that they are available for future generations.”
