Three Lady Trojans named to all-tournament team by coaches

Three New Kent Lady Trojans basketball team members have been selected to the Group 3A All-State Tournament team by a committee of coaches.

McKenna Mueller was named to the first team, while teammates Darian Mason and Jaiden McCoy were selections to the second team.

The group of coaches elected to make the selections as the Virginia High School League (VHSL) elected to forgo naming all-state teams for the FY2020-21 athletic year. The coaches’ choices were a way to recognize athletes for their accomplishments despite a season that contained many obstacles.
