Cycling scholarship available for Charles City students grade 6-12

In partnership with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) and Trek Bicycles, Charles City County Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded three BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color) scholarships.

Student-athletes from Charles City in grades 6-12 are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship includes a bicycle, helmet, cycling kit, and 2021 registration fees. No experience is necessary but participation is required.
